theres really no way that you could'nt see every part of your vulva/clit. Just get a mirror, an pull back your clitoral hood with your fingers. You sound really scared, and assuredly, you shouldn't be. Blood will dissolve in water, so even if you somehow couldn't see it all, it would wash away. And dried blood cannot cause an infection. A lot of things can cause clitoral swelling, but none of them are really anything to worry about, as long as it goes away in a few days/week. I agree with the others, it does sound like a pad issue.
I get some labia/clit irritation occasionally. If its bad, you can use monistat cream externally.
Does anyone know if it is safe to use any(and which brands) of over the counter itch cream on the vulva?
