So, I bought my first Diva Cup! It should arrive in like 3 weeks. Rock on! I really hope it's as good as everyone's claiming. Seriously, no one's complained once about it. Everyone's had good things to say. I am so stoked! Thanks everyone for the advice!

Sea Sponges
Aug. 20th, 2004 10:17 amToday is the first day of my moon time. I have been irregular lately and I am pleased because my moon time came at about the time I expected it to, taking into account the irregularity. I am using a sea sponge today and I just wanted to post about how much I love them. They are so much more comfortable than tampons, and I have not had any trouble with needing to rinse them in public restrooms. For anyone who has had trouble using tampons, I would recommend them. I know a lot of ladies here love their cups, but I find the sponges more comfortable. So far I am having a good period. I may get some intense cramps tomorrow, or not. I have a date tonight and a boyfriend who is not squeemish about blood. Orgasms usually soothe my cramps, especially those with male pheromones attached to them. ;)
So who's in the hut with me? How are you doing today? Share with me a story of your womanlyness.
Here's something to think about. Women are connected to their foremothers by a chain of eggs: girls are born with all the eggs that will ever have a chance to be fertilized and then some. That means that your eggs were inside your mother as you developed and your mother's eggs were inside her mother and so on...
To all of you I say: Blesssed be you sister, for you are the lady's child.

Okay, sorry, but I have to ask this:
Does anyone find that in the middle of their period, there's one day where you're running to the washroom like you're eight months pregnant? It's like all the water I've been retaining decides to escape my body in a twenty four hour period and I have to pee every hour and a half.
Or am I a freak? :D

Hi, I'm 14, 15 in a couple months and I just got my period about 4 days ago.
My question is:
How can I be almost sure that I will not bleed through or have some blood in my panties next time I get it? I ask because I know it takes a while for your body to get adjusted to the new system, and I'm not sure how long/ if it does skip months or whatever, does it still come around the same day you got it the first time or does it just jump around the days?
bonus question: did anyone start out with tampons?
I wasn't really sure who to ask, Thanks for reading/commenting.
It's much appreciated.
