pixydoll.livejournal.coma lot of people expressed wanting to hear what happened after my last post. thanks for you help and concern! basically, i don't trust the doctor i saw yesterday as far as i could throw him. he has no concern for his patients, and when i was telling him about the problem he kept talking over me and disregarding everything i said. i told him that i'd talked to another doctor in his office on the phone, and he rolled his eyes and said "oh god", as though no one is qualified to be a doctor except him. since i just had the vaginal septum removed about 4-5 months ago, i still have a lot of soreness, but he just sort of shoved the ultrasound up there - i was actually in tears from the pain. anyway, i guess this doesn't have a lot to do w/ anything.
i'm going to see another doctor and get a second opinion. the guy i saw said there wasn't anything else in there, but when he left the room i looked at the ultrasound pictures and it looked like there were 5 or 6 more of whatever it was i passed the other day. i was supposed to have a laparoscopy when i had the septum removed but i opted out of it since i have a slow healing rate and i didn't want to do two things at once. i really need to go have it though, b/c i was told "it wouldn't be unreasonable to think" i have endometriosis, fibroids, or both. if it turns out i don't have either, then there's something just intrinsically wrong w/ my uterus - which also wouldn't be a suprise since septums can indicate further developmental issues. i was also told that if i want to have children, i have to do it in the next 3 years (which won't happen). i'll probably have to have a hysterectomy by the time i'm 30.
but i guess that's okay, i've always considered adoption anyway.
