I'm new!

Lately my cycle has been crazy and I really don't know whats going on lately. My cycle used to be 29 days but for the past 5 months or more its moved to 34 to 32 and now its at 38. Right now my current concern is this bleeding I'm having. It's WAY to early to have my period and I know I'm not pregnant because my boyfriend and me are constantly using condoms when we have sex and we check them and everything afterwards, so I've had no problems with my protection.

I got my last period on Sept 15th and right now for the past 3 days I am experiecing this odd bleeding for the past 3 days. It isn't a steady flow either, I only notice it when I wipe in the bathroom, only once it got on my underwear. It's too early to have my period and I have even have some cramp-like pains also but its not heavy like my period but it has the smell of it also. Sometimes parts of the blood are chunky also. Is this an early period or due to ovulation or something? With my cycle changing every month or so I have no clue whats going on anymore. The bleeding only lasts for like couple hours but then the next day I notice it again!

Can anyone give me any clue as to whats going on?

Two questions:

1. My period is going crazy. I had it last week for two days. And then I started again a few days ago, but only for one day. And now I just started bleeding heavy again. Should I see a doctor? (If so, I'm scared :[)

2. Do any of you do anything sexual during your period, or is it too disgusting? My "friend with massive privilages" says that he doesn't mind do things with girls when they're on their periods, so I'm just wondering.
