So today was my third dose of Ortho-tricyclin, I'm doing OK, had some mild nausea on the second day, but it got better.

Anyone have any tips/tricks/hints/spells/magic charms or bits of advice to offer with this pill?

Did you just start that BC? If you did...you will have like at least a week of getting used to it...god. I hated it. I felt so dizzy and sick...I just felt like total shit, but it all went away and now it's a normal activity. Good luck!!!

Then...yeah...you will have those side-effects. They will pass.

i will take my third ortho-tricyclen pill today also. i haven't really felt nauseous but i felt kinda sluggish and out of it yesterday afternoon. i don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.

i never had a problem w/the pill (unless i missed a day and had to take 2...avoid that if at all possible). but my roommate took it for months and she'd get nauseated every time she took it unless she ate something with it.

i'd suggest eating something when you take your pill, even if it's just some bread or some crackers. best of luck babe!

This should pass as your body gets used to it. If it doesn't, though, mention it to your doctor, that may not be the pill for you. Your best bet right now is to take it with a meal so it has less of a chance of unsettling your stomach.
