Jul. 3rd, 2003 10:24 pmi don't know if this is really the place to ask this question as its semi-off topic, but since it's a female community, i thought i'd give it a shot.
i used to shave with a lady bic -- one of those cheap plastic ones. i'd use just plain soap and water while i was in the shower and come out with about 8 nicks total. but about two months ago, i switched to one of those venus razors. a friend suggested it because the hair on my legs is incredibly coarse, and i have pretty long stubble by the end of the day. so, i started using it, and it worked really well. i dont cut myself at all. but, my right calf suddenly became littered with ingrown hairs. and just my right calf. so far, i've been putting aloe vera gel on them, but they just won't go away. does this happen to anyone else? if so, what other ways can i prevent/treat them?
