Jul. 18th, 2003 08:12 pmI'm new here.. *waves*
I feel like a weirdo discussing this with people I don't know..BUT I'm really worried because I havn't gotten my period in over 2 months. My period is always WEIRD. Sometimes I wont get it for a month and sometimes I might get it 2 times a month...
I got a pregnancy test and it was negative so I don't think I'm pregnant.. though I don't know how reliable those things are.
I don't think I am pregnant though. I havn't had any symptoms of pregnancy besides sore boobs.
Has anybody else not had their period for over 2 months like this?
Should I be worried?

Stress usually affects how your body works. If it doesnt show up soon, I'd advise talking to a dr.

Date: 2003-07-19 10:38 am (UTC)In addition, when I went off the pill for a couple years, my period went back to its weird non-schedule, and I was having it every six to ten weeks instead of every four.
Also, my little sister started when she was in sixth grade, but she basically had a couple of periods, then went the entire seventh grade without. Her next one wasn't until eighth grade had almost started, and then she was having it, like, every three to five months.
So don't stress. I recommend getting a checkup if you're really worried, but... well, stressing can make it late, too. If you've had upsets in your life recently or are very active, then your "monthly friend" won't visit as often. Cheers!
