I haven't had my period since 2 months ago, I skipped it twice and I know that I'm not pregnant for sure because I've never done "it". All my day-to-day activities have been normal. Would wearing pads when it's not your period affect it and cause you to skip your period? And how many years does it take for your cycle system to regulate? My period is rarely on the same date, sometimes off by much. It has been almost 3 years since my first period.

If you regularly miss periods it could be caused by many things - an imbalance with your hormones (too much testosterone, for example), sensitivity to stress, extremely low body weight, extremely low body fat... anorexics often stop menstruating completely, as do some professional athletes. If you are getting more and more irregular/infrequent with time or if your periods are extremely painful, or if you go another month without menstruating, it could very well be worth a trip to the doctor to find out if anything is up down there or if your body is just particularly temperamental.
