Pap & Depro

I got my first PAP smear and it wasn't nearly as bad as all my friend told me it would be! It was so worth it, to know that everything looks fine.

Also, I just got on Depro Vera [the shot] last week. I really like it so far. I seem more interested in sex than I was on the pill, and I've only spotted one day so far (I heard this is normal). Anyone who's on it... how do you like it?

I noticed that my sex drive ended up being higher when I was on depo. I was on it for 10 years and my favorite side effect was DEFINITELY the disappearance of my flow. I was pretty irregular anyway without it, but not having to worry at all made my existance pretty damned good:)

If my hubby and I weren't trying for kids now, I'd still be on it! And I know that once we achieve our goal, it's back to the shot I go. *smiles* It helped with my sex life too, aside from increased libido, because I never truly had to worry about getting pregnant...definitely good for the spontenaety(sp?) aspect!

I didn't know it'd been around for 10 years! haha

Are you worried about the fertility thing? People have been telling me crazy things.. but my doctor said it would only take a year to get pregnant afterwards, and that's only in some people.
