hello everyone, i'm a new member!
(if anyone could respond ASAP i would appreciate it, because i might have to put the advice in effect today, since it's sunday)

i chose depo-provera as my birth control, but before i start getting the shots i chose to take the equivalent in pill form called nor QD. (just for a month to make sure no unexpected side effects come from me taking it. if they do, i can just stop taking the pills...which i can't do with the shots)

but this is my problem:
i'm supposed to take my first pill on the first sunday after i get my period, but my period is very irregular. lately they've been more regular than usual, but now i'm just all confused. my last clear period started around june 30th and i expected to get the next by now...but i'm not sure if i did.

ever since my last period it never really stopped. it got very very light to the point where i didn't have to wear anything for it, but it was still sorta there. then the beginning of august rolls around and it gets a little heavier. i thought this could be it, but i'm still not sure. it's a little more brownish and has a little bit of an odor, which confuses me...but there are (brief) times when it is like a regular period.

can you see my confusion?

i should also mention that my period are NOT usually light, but both this one (if it is, in fact, my period) and the last were. also, recently i suspected that i could be pregnant, but put that thought in the back of my head because there's no real signs of that. BUT, could this be a reason for all of this? if not, what is it?

should i take my first nor QD pill today?
someone PLEASE help.

I think your best bet would be to talk to your doctor. Especially if you are pregnant, because you definitely don't want to take any BC.

Have you also spoke with your doctor about your period (or whatever that might be. )?
