Aug. 17th, 2003 08:56 pmWell, my experiment with the Insteads hasn't been good as I had hoped. I have great difficulty getting them out. My midwife told me that my cervix is very far back and I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Without getting too graphic, let's just say it's really messy. And I don't think it is anything that will get better with practice. I think it's just the mechanics of what I have to do to get it out. It's a shame because I love the way I am not feeling anything, no bulky pad, no uncomfortable tampon. Is the Keeper any easier to remove? Is it placed inside as far back as the Instead cup is?

Date: 2003-08-17 07:10 pm (UTC)I had a miserable failed attempt with Instead cups, too, because my cervix is tilted, and it never quite made it in at the right angle. (But not before, of course, I thought I had it right and then found out at work that I was *very* wrong.)
