Hey there everyone! I was pleasantly surprised to come across this community - after reading for only 2 minutes I've already learned something! One question I have to ask, and another that's just kinda amusing and annoying at the same time:

- firstly, could someone post me some links to non-disposable tampon/pad alternatives? I saw a recent post mentioning them and was really interested as tampons are really starting to feck me off!!

- secondly, and of not much educational value at all - my period has this nifty trick of "faking" a finish. 3 days on, 24 hours off......then it surprises me again!!! Yippee. Usually when I've gone out grocery shopping or something and thought "nah, I'll leave my tampons at home, I won't need them...."
Anybody else have the great fortune (*note dripping sarcasm*) of this happening to them, or am I a freak?! :P

I get my pads from http://www.juliestuff.com/pages/ClothPads.html -- they take PayPal (if that matters to you) and I love the Lotus Pads. I get them in Natural Organic cotton.

I've been using cloth pads for around 10 years, and right now I'm in love with the Lotus Pads.

that happens to me alot. i think its because of the tampons... it never happens to me when i only use pads. if i only use tampons for the first 3 days, i think its over by the third day, but then it comes back the next day. its weird.

i have the SAME problem! i was reading this site to see if it happened to anyone else.

see, i really like using tampons, because i don't have all that messiness with the pads. but then i hate how it sneaks up on me like that, a day or so later.
