a while ago on tv i heard that people that make pads and tampons put some kind of chemicals to keep you bleeding longer than you should... does anyone know if this is actually true?

it maybe true though, but im glad that you cleared it up for me at least i wont look like i made it up ya know? but i think its true or else why would it be on tv?

no, but there are plenty of other problems with pads and tampons, like dioxins (which are legal but still very harmful) and the bleaching process. not to mention how tampons dry your vagina out and absorb all the natural fluids that need to be present to keep your vagina healthy.
