so i have a question about the diva cup.
this is my first week using it.
first of all - i have major issues getting it in and out. it just hurts me because i'm more used to smaller objects (aka tampons).
second - i'm pretty sure i have it in right & i do twist it like it says, but i still get major leakage.
& when it's in the tab doesn't sit in the middle but it points to the ... right side.

any suggestions on fixing the problem or should i just return to disposables ????

Hm. My only suggestion would be to make sure you aren't putting it up too high inside you. The Diva cup is made to sit down pretty low and I know that if i put mine up too high I get leakage even if I twist it etc.

right now its just the little tab. should there be more ????

You're right, just the tab. Although I had to cut my tab down to almost nothing because it was irritating having the entire tab sticking out.

There's a possibility it might be too small. Other than that I don't know what to tell you!

hmm.
well thanks for the suggestions.
i fit the requirements for this size though.

maybe im just weird down there and it doesnt want to work right. cause i leaked sometimes w/ tampons too.

its still my first time using it, so maybe over time i'll figure it out ?

Definitely you may get it figured out! It took me a couple of cycles to get it working right. One thing I found, and this may or may not be helpful for you, is that if I stand with one leg raised up against the sink or a wall or something it is easier to get the cup in to where it is supposed to be. Also, if I am at home, laying on the floor with my feet up is also a way to get it in. If i just try to put it in while standing around in the bathroom i have to try numerous times before I get it in correctly. Good luck!!!

Don't give up yet!! It can take up to three cycles for people to get the hang of it, but they do get it. I would definitely ask the lovely ladies in the_keeper.
