spotting, nuvaring,etc.

i've been bleeding/spotting for nearly two weeks now (period days, then two days off without bleeding, then i took the nuvaring out & have been bleeding for a week). is it normal to bleed this long? when is it going to stop? is there anything i can do to speed it along or whatever? am i bleeding more because i was allergic to it? i've never spotted/bled this long and it's a)starting to worry me & b)getting on my nerves.

any comments would be much appreciated. thanks.
