adhd and periods

I have a question for any of the ladies out there with ADD/ADHD.

I've been on Adderall since I was 19, (I’m 22 now) and I've noticed that right before my period comes, whenever I take it I fall asleep. It normally slows me down a bit but, not to the point of acting like a sleeping pill! I told my psychiatrist about it and he was just like.."Keep taking it anyway, don't skip your meds" but I think that's a bit much.

Has anyone else experienced anything like that before?

Yeah, that's kind of like me. I get hungry but it makes me so tired. I've been lethargic for days now.

I used to get hyper before my periods...
