I always thought that when women...even mothers and daughters lived together, that they usually got their periods together.

My mom and I used to be nsync..but she's having her's now, and I've already had mine. I remember that used to be some of our best bonding time.

Does anyone know why we could have gotten out of sync with each other?

How old is she? If she's in her 40's she could be menopausal.

That could be it...but me and my mom were never on the same cycle, so I never understood it.

It could be many things....sometimes these things aren't down to an exact science. Perhaps you or your mother had some kind of stress? Fluctuation in hormones? Maybe you didn't spend enough time together for those "chemical interchanges" to take place? I wouldn't worry about it...you probably fall back into synch again.
