Oct. 29th, 2003 04:07 pmSince I'm being plagued by yet another yeast infection I thought I'd share something that I found off a website, that I have been using for the past few days and it's getting better each day.
Tea tree oil is a great thing for all infections in your vagina, it helps with itching and burning [especially if you keep the bottle in the fridge beforehand...!]
♥Take a tampon and coat it in lube [or olive oil is what I've been using] to stop the tea tree being soaked right into the tampon. Make sure it's covered completely in the olive oil or lube.
♥Put a few drops of tea tree oil on the tampon [if you've never used tea tree on your vagina before test it a little before trying this!]
♥And insert! It can really cool you down which is what you need! Remember not to leave it in for longer than you would usually leave a tampon in for :) x
[Isn't it funny that when I'm posting this I get a pop-up for medication to buy to treat yeast infections...hmmm]

Date: 2003-10-29 12:46 pm (UTC)Garlic has anti-fungal properties and I have heard of women inserting whole, peeled cloves of garlic to treat yeast infections.
Plain, live yoghurt is also good and helps restore the natural balance of flora down there.
