Late period?
Oct. 30th, 2003 01:36 pmHi everyone, I just joined this yesterday but I already have a question. I'm 20 years old and have had my period since I was 13. It's been regular since I wsa 15 but for some reason, this month I haven't gotten it yet. It's already two weeks late. There's no chance of it being a pregnancy, but what are some other factors that can delay it for this long?
Thank you so much

Date: 2003-10-30 11:06 am (UTC)2) Losing too much weight (eating disorders especially)
3) Sickness
4) Malnutrition (not enough iron, namely)
5) Some conditions such as endometriosis and PCOS can delay your periods, I believe.
If you skip next month as well, you should go to your regular gyno and have them give you a once-over to make sure nothing is wrong.

Date: 2003-10-30 11:26 am (UTC)- Change in exercise regimen (more or less)
- Stress
Those are usually the main contenders. :)
Other than that: Love your icon. Hansonnnn! (And I mean this, I'm not being sarcastic. I know it can sometimes be hard to tell, heh.)
