Today I am annoyed with my idiot womb! It's not being too painful, so that's good, but there's lots of blood. Yuck.
I was meeting my boyfriend for an early dinner today. I went to the loo beforehand, and my sanitary towel was ok - about "half full" if you know what I mean. Normally at this stage of my period I can get a few hours in, especially in the last few months as I have PCOS, the only good side effect of which is lighter periods. However, since I started my medication they've got heavier again. Anyway, we had a meal, and afterwards (only 1 1/2 hrs after I'd first been) I went to the loo again... To find that my sanitary was not only completely full, but that I'd leaked onto my jeans. Nice jeans I might add! I couldn't work out how as there was no blood on my knickers, but then I realised... It had leaked down the side of my leg. How gross is that?! Grr. And I can't go home as I have to go to a play rehearsal. Luckily where the blood is you can't see the stain unless I sat in an unladylike fashion, so I should be ok, but I still feel quite icky and gross. I've never done that before - occasionally at night, but never during the day. It was very sneaky of my period I think to suddenly get heavy. I didn't get any feeling of flooding as I've occasionally had and so there wasn't any way for me to realise until I got up! Grr.
