So, this is the last time I take advice from a guy regarding my cycle... Remember how I said I lost my pills and had to buy new ones? Well, I actually ended up not being able to get to the drug store until the next day... I was absolutely dreading having to do the 'two pills at once' thing. I'm on OTC, and although it works great for me otherwise, if I have to double up I get sicker than a dog. So, my friend Steve suggests that, since there's currently no-one likely to impregnate me with a pod person, why not just skip a day? Great idea, thought I, completely forgetting past experience... So now, of course I'm spotting it looks like I'm gonna be bleeding in dribs and drabs until the end of my cycle (2 weeks or so, joy). To add insult to injury, it looks like since the end of my period - my first with the diva cup - I've sort of lost the knack of putting it in! I guess I'm going to be getting lots of practice...

So today, while napping, I actually had a quasi-nightmare about my cup. :o I dreamed that I could feel it leaking, so, rather than take it out, I figured I'd just jimmy it around up there and try and get it in the right spot. But when I bore down to grab the stem, it popped completely out and spilled vast, unrealistic amounts of blood all over my bed and the carpet! Yum.

Well, I hope some of you can get a laugh out of this, at least. :)
