First time posting, anyway.
Anyone have any tricks for remembering to take meds? I'm on the "minipill" but I keep forgetting to take it. I'll remember it, hours later. And the minipill is so sensitive you're not supposed to take it more than an hour's difference each day. I've tried different times during the day and nothing seems to work.

I'd thought about getting the depo shot, but that just scares me; I haven't heard a single good thing about it.

And here's the thing; I'm late. Not *that* late, and I've never been regular. My husband and I want to wait to have another child. I keep feeling like I'm PMS'ing, but I know that I also felt that way when I was newly pregnant last time.

i know some people who put the alarm clock on on their cell phone or watch so it beeps at a certain time during the day... or if you eat, say, lunch at the same time every day then take your pill then... or if there's a certain tv show that you watch every night take it at that time (that's what i do, at 11 pm, with law & order. heh heh)... or when you brush your teeth in the morning before work... etc etc.
hope that helps :)

I just kept it next to my fish food, and took it when I fed my fish at night. That probably doesn't work for everyone, but I make a round of all my pets every night, so I just put the pill into that ritual.

I had that problem with the pill, and now I'm on the patch. So I only have to think about it once a week. My patch change day is Monday and I usually do it right when I wake up... that's an easy time to remember, the first weekday of the week right after waking up. Anyway, you might want to look into Ortho Evra.

like everyone else is saying, associate it with a routine or set an alarm... though I unfortunately associated my antihistamines with taking the pill, rather than simply "take whatever necessary pills nightly" so now that I'm not on the pill anymore, I'm much more forgetful about taking the antihistamines. I'd forget them all the time when I was on the week off from the active pills (felt silly taking the placebo pills, so I had the packs without.)
