i started running 3 times a week on an elliptical trainer thing (kind of like a treadmill)...i lost over 20 lbs...my birth control weight AND some baby fat to boot. :) plus, i just felt better.
just with regards to excercising, I used to use the excuse that I didn't have time, but I've found that even one good session a week can make a heck of a difference.
