Not a typical menstrual question!

This is probably a weird question but before my period my hair starts having a weird texture to it and it goes flat and doesn't want to do anything at all. It's usually really soft and healthy looking but I'm PMS'ing and it's starting to do bad. Could it be from the hormonal change that takes place when you are about to have a period. Has anyone else ever experienced thsi?

It could definitely be from a hormonal change. I have known women with naturally curly hair that went completely straight when they were pregnant. Hormones can do crazy things!

i also have heard that hormones affect hair color, particularly that after being pregnant most blondes get darker hair, because light hair is somehow related to estrogen levels or some garbage like that. i have no idea if it's true or not. :-)
