What?

Everyone's so excited about these organic washable pads, keepers, and sponges. I just don't get it. I'm all about the environment but I am not into handling my menstrual fluid. And PLEASE do not tell me that I need to get in touch with my menstrual fluid. I'm just not that kind of girl.
Now what would be really helpful is some sort of PMS quick fix so that I wouldn't always feel like murdering people each month.

Messing around with one's blood is, indeed, not for everyone. I think it's probably a good thing to be as connected to that part of your life and the cycles of your body as every other part, but I don't think anyone here is going to condemn anyone for not wanting to deal with their blood.
As for the PMS fix, if you find anything out, let us know ;)

I don't get very bad PMS, but one thing that always works for both my physical and emotional symptoms is Cinammon Pop-tarts. It sounds silly, but I swear to God I feel better after eating a few. I've suggested this to a few friends, and they tend to agree with me.

Two herbal anti-PMS things I've heard of are raspberry leaf tea (you could always drink it with a decaf "normal" tea bag in the cup as well, if you disliked the taste) and evening primrose oil capsules.

PMS quick fix?

Don't I wish. :O)
I always have some strange desire to light candles or go for a run, it (almost) never fails to relax me. So to avoid feeling murderous, try doing something that either relaxes you or wears you out.

obviously it doesn't have to be for everyone. i think it's great though that so many girls are realizing they have more options than just what is common--and are also yes, learning about their bodies and system independently. it's not for everyone, okay...but the whole prospect that we have that avenue slowly opening up makes me smile indeed. it's changed my view of myself, and what i can control and do with my body. i'm very thankful.
