Ok, so perhaps you ladies can give me some insight. Just so you know, I'm going to see my gyno on Friday about this, but I'm a worrywart and I'm curious, and I thought perhaps you would know.

Recently (as in my past 2 cycles) I've noticed that my normal discharge has changed somewhat. The color and consistency (clear-to-slightly yellowish and with a thick mucuslike consistency) have stayed basically the same, although sometimes I get sort of chunks of discharge. The smell of my discharge has not changed either. However, I've noticed that now my discharge leaves a sort of crust (gross, I know) in my underwear and it also makes my pubic hair stick together sometimes. There is no pain, itching or discomfort, simply a change in my discharge. I am sexually active, I'm on the pill, and I use condoms, but I'm worried this could be an STD. Anyone know what this could be? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Do you feel bad? (in pain, itchy, etc.) I have discharge just like what you described and it's not unusual for me.

so do i! go us!

on another note, they say that if you have changes in your discharge you should see your doctor. but if everyone went to the doctor when they had any changes, we'd all always be at the doctor. maybe you should just bring it up next time you're there.
