Jan. 3rd, 2004 09:47 pmhow in the heck do you insert a non-applicator tampon? my step-sis uses the OB kind, and i tried to use one once just to see what it was like. i found it to be impossible. it was awkward and painful, and i got blood all over my hand. i thought that using a lubricator might help to insert it, but wouldn't it coat the surface of the tampon to where it wouldn't absorb any blood? someone please help to educate me on this mysterious non-applicator phenomenon.

Date: 2004-01-03 07:57 pm (UTC)Every period, I just empty out a plastic OB applicator and use it during the week for my sponges...just wash the blood off with water each time. It works well!
But yeah, when I did use tampons (evil tampons), I couldn't use non-applicator ones. Hmm.
