Pill and boob pain?

Hi, I've written in here before about my starting birth control. Well, I've been on it a little less than a month. My boobs normally hurt a few days before I get my period, but now they really hurt. More so than usual. I guess I was just wondering if anyone else has sore boobs before their periods, or if they've noticed an increase in the pain (not a huge one, per se, just enough to be more of an annoyance) because of birth control.

The next thing I want to say isn't a question, just a mini-rant of sorts. I thought that taking a pill about the same time everyday would be easy, and difficult to forget. Yet, it still manages to slip my mind every now and again. Rarrrr.

I had a hard time remembering to take my pill regularly, so I switched to Ortho Evra (the patch). I am much better at remembering once a week, lol.

I don't normaly get any breast pain at all but a few months ago I did have breast pain, so bad it was keeping me up at night, I ended up bringing it up with my GP and he changed my birth control - although I had been on the same birth control for years changing it did make a differance.
I would imagine a lot of people experience pain in their breasts near to their period, it's just one of the many changes hormones makes at that time of the month - just don't ask me exactly why, been a long time sinc eI've done biology, maybe something to do with estrogen or something. I know usualy my boobs get bigger, my scent changes, sometimes period pains and breast pains as well as discharge changes before my period.

lol, I don't have that much of a problem, I've been taking it for ages, I guess I'm just good at taking pills on time, a few hours out but I very rarely forget a pill.

with the patch only once a week, but with nuvaring only once a MONTH! the only thing i have trouble with is remembering when 4 weeks are up so i can switch rings.

i've been on birthcontrol for a few years now, and my boobs have never stopped hurting... if i dont wear a bra to bed, i wake up with my boobs in serious pain. trust me, i've never forgotten to wear one! i rarely miss taking my pills, because taking them after a long time becomes automatic, and my boyfriend takes medicine for depression each night and we remind each other to take medicine :D he's a sweetheart. anyways, hopefully your experience with bc will be as good as mine has.
