ok... I had my daughter in may, I was taking mircette but any b/c in the pill form makes me VERY sick. I have been with my s/o for nearly three years and our other form of protection has worked *pulling out* Now I know its not a good form but the ONE tiem we didn't use it BAM I was pregnant! Go figure. Anyway...

... The last day of my period nearly two weeks ago we had sex un-protected. I have been SO tired. like groggy can't move tired. sick to my stomach, peeing every five seconds, cramps etc. I know I know I dont want to sound like one of those *OMG I HAD SEX AM I PREGNANT?* BUT... Could these be examples of soemthing else... ie: Bladder infection, etc? I am hoping do I dont remember if I felt pregnant this early before. *shrugs* I dunno I have only elt like this for about4 days. Just womdering could it be somethign other then pregnancy?

Whenever you had unprotected sex, there is a possibility that you are pregnant (even if it’s while you’re on your period). You can take a pregnancy test 10-14 days after the event (depends on the test, just take a look at the store) so that you can find out for sure. Yes, those symptoms could be symptoms of a UTI, but even if you have a UTI, you could also be pregnant. Until you take a test, there’s no way to know.

If you haven’t been able to find birth control pills that work for you, talk to your doctor and see if there’s some other type of hormonal birth control you can use. Otherwise, some other options are diaphragms, condoms, spermicide, IUDs, cervical caps, and sponges.

urinary tract infections are characterized by needing to pee every 5 seconds, but also you would probably feel a burning feeling as you were going to the bathroom too. and the other symptoms that you are talking about, the tiredness and nausea and cramps, those would not be from an infection most likely. i think you should take a pregnancy test right away and see your doctor if you continue to feel this way even if you're not pregnant.

you're right, as a method of protection 'pulling out' is totally unreliable, due to pre-ejaculatory fluid which has sperm in it. plus, it's not very much fun to have to pull out every time, is it? unless you are trying to get pregnant, i'd swtich to something else ASAP.
