DivaCup, How do I love thee, let me count the ways

I wrote this last night at work, I will cut it for those who don't care to know the somewhat messy details.



I would just like to say that I am in love with my DivaCup! Before I got it I wasn't sure if I would be comfortable inserting and removing it due to the mess and the general idea of seeing my blood. I thought that seeing it would cause me to gag. Boy, oh boy was I wrong. There is hardly any mess and I actually found it kind of interesting to see the blood in its natural form. I had no idea it was so watery! I did have an issue with me thinking it wasn't in far enough, but I noticed that as time passed it migrated futher on its own. I did have to bear down a bit to remove it but that wasn't any problem. I also noticed that sometimes it does get a little messy when you go to remove it as you are "flowing". Heh. That was interesting. But again, no problems. I must also mention that I LOVE the fact that now when I use the restroom I don't have to screw around with a damn string getting in the way and then having to adjust it again and getting messy. What a relief!

I now understand the goofy smile on the woman's face as she holds the DivaCup on the website. This thing truly makes me happy and I honestly don't know how I got by with tampons all those years. I am even going to go to a different forum and post about it to those ladies. This has truly made my life easier and more enjoyable.

I would like to second your comment. This is my first cycle on the divacup and it is super great. Which is amazing seeing as I play rugby and even tampons have trouble sticking with me that long. I was afraid that it wouldn't stay in while I was playing sports or that it would be uncomfortable but I don't even notice it. I've been sending the link to all of my friends.
