celebrating your womanhood

What is something you have done to celebrate to be a woman? Dance naked in the sunshine? Make paintings with your menstrual blood? Make your own pads/ sea sponges?

I am making my own pads, and it is somehow "bonding" with my cycle. I hate my periods, and now it is more of a beautiful thing.

I've danced nekid in the rain before, I used to always run around nekid, nothing better than running about nekid in a field, in a park, in the middle of the night with the grass beneith your feet, the smell of flowers on the breese and a band of hippies in the distance playing drums :oD
Since using my Mooncup I've experienced the whole bonding thing too, I like the fact that I can feed my plants that I use for herb lore to heal myself with my menstrual blood.

I had a baby. :D For me that was the biggest celebration of being a woman I could think of.
I also started using my Keeper and have found that I'm enjoying my cycle a lot more (Okay.. the one I've had since having the baby anyway.)

no its not its celebrating your womanhood, its a kick in the ass to all the male run corporate companies that say hey your period smells beacuse your a woman your thought of less and you need to cover that thing up cause its disgusting and wear our product that can give you cancer, endomeitriosis and totally not let you exprience something NATURAL.
i know women that cant even touch their own menstrual blood or are ashmaed of it and cant even talk about their period or some that can even change a tampon or pad when someone else is in the bathroom with them. i think this is awesome beacuse its bringing stuff that we as women are ashamed and disgusted of out in the open

I understand what you are saying, but the thought of panting with any type of bodily fluid seems extreme.
