I have an appointment next Thursday, the 12th, to get BC. My period should start between the 14-16th. Like I mentioned, I'll be going to Florida in March from the 12-20th. So how can I skip my period? The most detailed response wins, lol. Thanks :)

well, it all depends on what kind of birth control you get put on. anything with 3 levels of hormones is going to be very hard to skip on. but, if you want to try anyways, you just do not take the placebo pills and go right onto the next pack.

meanwhile, why would you want to skip in florida in march? unless you are going to south south florida, i assure you, you won't be at the beach. unless you are one of those crazy northerners who are convinced that 60 is a good temperature to swim in.

Probably more convienince in going on vacation, than swimming. Besides that, I'm in central Florida, and it's plenty warm enough to go swimming. I'd prefer the Gulf over the Atlantic, but it's still warm enough for me.

OP: You just start a new pack of pills. Triphasic pills work for some, I skipped for two years on OTC with no spotting or anything, no problems at all. But monophasic pills are better, so ask to be put on one of those.

Haha, no, it's because I'll be visiting my boyfriend and I want to be able to have sex, and I'm kinda turned off by the idea of period sex >.
