I got a prescription of Darvocet, has anyone taken this before?

Um... I've taken similar drugs recreationally. Darvocet's a lot like codeine in form and function. If you don't want to feel like you're on drugs, stick precisely to the recommended dosage. Also don't wash it down with beer, and wait a little bit to get used to it before jumping in a car and driving away.

Yeah, I'm not looking to get sick off it...I actually intend to use it as a pain killer.

Yeah... do just what the bottle says and you ought to be fine. There's a chance it might mess you up a little bit at first, but eventually your body'll get used to it.

I have, it helps with some pains...makes me dizzy though. And sleepy
