Missed menstration

So, I have had my period for about 4 years now and it is just crazy. My period only comes about every 4 to 5 months and sometimes 2. I know that it can sometimes be due to weight or such but I was wondering if any of you lovely ladies on here know any more about this issue.

Has your doctor given you a clue? Sometimes they can tell things that we can't, such as what our hormone levels are.

Age is also a factor. Some women don't become monthly until their 20's.
