Skipping your period can be a hit or miss thing. It works really well sometimes, and sometimes (even for women that it's worked well with in the past), it just doesn't work as well. You may spot sporadically through the month, you may bleed through the month, you may be done with spotting till your next set of sugar pills.

Good luck.

Btw, it's interesting that you continued hormones during surgery, my pill packet said that if I'm scheduled for surgery, I should stop the pills several weeks beforehand so that there's less risk of blood clots...

If they said it was ok, then it is *smiles* I'd trust the doctors.

I'm glad that you managed to have things easier during hte surgery. I hope that the bleeding stops soon.

Ok, well, if you're still alive, I'd trust that it was ok. How's that?

I'm on Alesse 28 as well, and it is known for having spotting. I wouldn't worry too much.
