I had to take this pill for my yeast infection.
It was 20 dollars for one pill and I don't notice any difference.

next timei might suggest trying natural ways that are cheap and just as effective, like yogurt or garlic.

How long ago did you take the pill?

If it was Diflucan, here is what I found on their website:

How long before my yeast infection symptoms go away?
With Diflucan, you should notice some relief of your symptoms within 24 hours (range: 1 hour to 9 days). For some women, it may take longer than 24 hours for symptom relief to begin and may take as many as 9 days. If your symptoms have not improved within 3 to 5 days, call your doctor or other healthcare professional.

yo, i totally had the same experience! i even waited extra and the first diflucan did not work. that yeast infection was freaking awful, too. i ended up taking a second diflucan, but if i had been at home, i definitely would have tried some of the 'natural remedies'. hell, i would have tried anything. other people here know better, but i know i have read in the past something about using yogurt, maybe mixed with vinegar or something? someone back me up here?

try not to hate me here....

Okay, simple way to cure a yeast infection. Start by taking Asphodelus pills which can be found at your local drug store or health food store. You can even take them every day if you are prone to yeast infections.
Next - Get a small container of PLAIN yogurt and some cardboard aplicator tampons. Take the tampon out of the wrapper and stick the fist 2-3 inches in the yogurt. Let it sit there for about 5 minutes and then remove it. Insert the tampon into your vagina and then put it out. (NOTE: do not leave any part of the tampon in there i.e. the cotton part). Do this 2x's a day and you should start feeling better.
I know that it sounds a bit crazy, but the culture from the yogurt helps get the proper balence back very fast. My Ob/Gyn was the one that told me about this - she says that some of her patients are "grossed out" by this and she just laughs because it is better for you then a lot of medicines that don't always work right away and than can have some really bad side effects!

Hm..when I had one a couple months back, I just used some over the counter cream, and it seemed to work after a few days.
