Mar. 9th, 2004 10:01 amI would like some opinions, but since I included as much relevant info as I thought necessary, it's kinda long, hence the cut...
The first day of my last period was January 23rd. That makes today day 47 of my cycle.
I was specifically trying to get pregnant last month. However, I've taken three pregnancy tests (on day 32,37, & 45), all of which have been negative. So on Sunday, day 45, when I got a third negative, I thought I'd try the parsley tea method that's spoken of so frequently in this community. Within a few hours, I had a terrible headache and felt somewhat nauseous. It could very possibly be that the headache was random, and not due to the parsley at all, but being the wimp I am, I didn't want to take any chances, so I didn't drink anymore.
I am getting frustrated. If the tests are right and I'm not pregnant, where the heck is my period? A friend told me that sometimes pregnancy tests are defective, and since they all came from the same box, they are all the same kind, it's not so crazy to think all three tests were defective. But not having much experience with these things, I don't know what to think.
Here are the day lengths of my past fifteen cycles, going backwards from the most recent (28, 33, 43, 28, 31, 37, 28, 26, 28, 27, 26, 39, 38).
I consider the 43-day cycle to be a major outlier that was most likely stress induced from getting married and moving out of state (and a whole lot of crazy things in between) that month. That's why I am looking at Day 47 so suspiciously.
So given the above information, what do you all think?
