Any relief, even small relief, is good in my opinion.
I have found the following to be very beneficial:
1. Allow myself to be blue, when it strikes. I have found that if I just allow myself to feel the way my hormones are dictating, and stop fighting it, it is a whole lot easier to feel better.
2. Allow myself more rest. Being tired on top of raging hormones is a bad thing...a very bad thing.
3. Make allowances to do less trying things in my schedule. This isn't always possible, but I do what I can.
4. Cut down on the coffee/soda.
