how many other people crazy chocolate like crazy the week before their peroid, on their peroid, or i guess just anytime? im gonna get my period in like a week and today all of the sudden i had the biggest craving for chocolate. i sat down and at almost a whole 12 oz package of chocolate chips...and of course felt really sick afterwards...lol. just wondering how many other people have the same thing happen.

I really get a craving for chooclate around my period And sweets. This is because your serotonin level (the chemical that's released in your brain and causes you to feel satisfied and happy) drops before your period. So you crave foods that will increase it, ie simple carbs mostly in the form of sweets and chocolate :) Unfortunately, it only lasts a couple hours at most, which is why I binge chocolate often before and during my ragtime.
