Festival Rag!
May. 26th, 2004 01:52 pmSo. Music festivals. I'm a bit of a veteran but I've never had the misfortune to be in the hut whilst camping...but it looks like I'm going to be spending this year's Glastonbury bleeding profusely. Urgh. The bleeding itself I can quite happily handle, but the whole changing of pads ritual = extra minutes spend in awkward postitions in frankly disgusting portaloos. Sigh. Any survival tips?
The dumb thing is I just got put on the pill, and I meant to start this month, and if that had worked out I could at least have attempted to skip (although frankly I doubt it would have worked, what with it being my first month on BC), but I ended up staying with friends when I came on so I had no access to my pills for a few days. So another bc-free month it is.
I suppose I could hop back up to the doctors and beg from some progesterone to delay it...but I get the impression they'd tell me to bugger off, we just gave you the pill. Heh.
