May. 26th, 2004 06:35 pmi posted this before and didn't get a response. i would like to some of your thoughts cos im a little concerned:
so i ended my period ysterday. i got it last friday. now im having these weird pain like symptoms on my left side... mostly around my pelvic area/lower abdomen. it's sorta like the feeling i get when you're ovulating or something. it doesn't hurt when i touch it, but it's just that "weird feeling" that if i put pressure on it it just feels weird. is it possible to ovulate after getting your period? when i wipe myself in the bathroom, i also sometimes notice a thin, clear and slimy discharge that has no strange odors from my usual discharge. my periods are normal and they usually come right around the time they're supposed to.
any idea as to what's up? cos i've got no clue. thank you.

Date: 2004-05-26 04:17 pm (UTC)if it was ovulation-related, i don't think you'd be feeling it all the time, that is more of like a sharp pain that happens quickly and the goes away (at least in my experience).
my advice would be to go to the gynecologist about this - the discharge sounds totally normal but if you've been feeling pain for that long a gynecologist would want to rule out things like ectopic pregnancy or something that could be dangerous for you. (i don't know if pregnancy is a possibility for you but pain in general that lasts a while is something worth getting checked out).

Date: 2004-05-26 04:33 pm (UTC)lately i've been paranoid cos a while back, my boyfriend and i were messing around and he tried putting his penis in me but i pushed him away. im more paranoid cos of the whole pre-cum thing. but i got my period(a day early) right when i was expecting it. so i don't think i could be pregnant.
