I just got my period. And without a warning sign. Usually a week before my boobs hurt, but this time I woke feeling sick to my stomach and I realized I got it. Ugh.. and I'm going over Shaun's house (my boyfriend) and I wanted to do some things.

They are these little cups that you would insert into your vagina kinda like you would a diaphram (but it is not a type of birth control). I just tried my first one yesterday and love them already.

Basically, it's a cup that you wear during your period. It collects the blood rather than absorbing it.
It allows people to have sexual activities, without there being a product in the way, or any mess (or at least, minimal mess).
I am still waiting for my sample to arrive. Looks like it will miss this period (I'm already 3 days in.)

Well, you don't put it in as is. You squeeze the sides together to compress it.
It's my understanding that when this is done, it is not much bigger than a tampon.
I would say it would probably take some practice, and one would certainly need to be comfortable with her vagina.

yea....and it seems u have to put it up really far...I'd be afraid that it would leak during sex. Definately not my thing.
