Hey hey, I'm new, and I thought this would be a good place to ask this question...

So I'm using my new Diva Cup for the first time, and I've been having a bit of a hard time inserting it. I'm pretty sure I've gotten it in OK, the way it's supposed to be positioned inside, with the stem coming out but not pushed up to far. The thing is, I can still feel it in me. I guess it pinches a tiny bit, but doesn't really hurt, it's just slightly uncomfortable. Is this normal? Is it something you get used to? How do I know it's inserted properly and correctly? Any feedback would be super appreciated. :)

Where is it pinching? Inside or where the stem is? The stem I think was what was causing me discomfort. It was sort of pinching somewhere (though where I couldn't tell you). That happened to me the first couple times I used my Diva Cup. Once you get the hang of pushing it all the way up inside everything should be ok. Also, are you turning it a half turn to pop it open? Mine seems to pop open before I get it half way in which I think helps me push it all the way up (no stem hanging out). Also, as the time progresses through the day that you have it in, it does migrate up further so if you started out with the stem out, it should be all the way inside you within an hour if not less.

Simply put, you will know that it's in right because you won't leak.

You could also try trimming the stem. I found it uncomfortable at first but then I cut about half of the stem off and then it was much better.
