Late Period And Virginity

Good afternoon! I have an issue, and I was hoping somebody, somehow could help.

I lost my virginity a few weeks ago. We had sex four times in as many days, and I've not had sex since.

The issue is this: I am now 2 days late-- and I am almost NEVER late. I did have some spotting about a week ago, which is pretty common with me.

Does this sound like anything to worry about? Is it uncommon for a period to be late or missed after losing one's virginity?

No; he had a vacectomy several years ago, and any tests for STDs came out negative. We figured that it was pretty safe; I'm wondering if there's another issue going on.

Could very well be nerves thats delaying it. I agree with the other poster that if you are really worried take a pregnancy test to allay your fears/put your mind at ease :) Hope it comes soon for you!

People can lie. I wouldn't trust someone telling me they had a vasectomy and negative tests for STD. Did you see his medical records? Take a pregnancy test and get tested for STDs yourself so you can make sure this man is being truthful with you.

Wow, that sounds really negative when I read it back to myself, but my point was meant to be that I've seen people lie enough that I know it is best for me to be sure of things for myself and it would probably be a good thing for you, too.

I find that when I have had sex, my hormones are a little wigged out and that makes my period come at different times.

Breathe and if you are really nervous, take a pregnancy test.

Me too! In fact I've taken like 4 pregnancy tests within one year cuz i get really freaking nervous about it. I've even been on the pill and not missed a day and still freaked out over a day late period. But the funny thing is, the pill made my periods irregular, so that could be a cause for nervousness!

it's only 2 days late, i wouldn't worry yet. i bet your hormones are just all "excited" & with the general anxious about losing your virginity, you could very easily be late this month.
