Quick question!

Ok here's the deal, My period has always been regular ever since I first got it which was 5 years ago or so. It has always been regular, except for the first few months. It goes like this...

1st day: Medium (flow wise.)
2nd day: Really super heavy
3rd day: Same as 2nd day
4th day: Same as first day
5th day: A little bit lighter than 4th day.
6th day: A little bit lighter.
7th & 8th day (yes 8 days, wonderful isn't it?) is very light and barely there.

Now last month, which started the 13th of May, was so different. The first day was like it always is, medium, but it was surprisingly the worst day of all. 2nd day was lighter, which surprised me ALOT. 3rd day was a little bit heavier, and then the 4th and 5th days were barely there and it went away!

now my question is.. has anyone's period changed flow wise? i'm a little worried, since i'm sexually active, although we always use condoms, i'm just a very paranoid person and i've heard you can get your period and be pregnant at the same time. i'm due on friday, but i wanted to know beforehand if this is normal, and/or if it's happened to anyone and/or they know whats going on.. Well if you've just started becoming sexually active, sometimes your period can get a bit wonky for a little bit. You probably shouldn't rely totally on condoms, but either way there's a small chance you'd be pregnant.

That same thing happened to me starting 2 - 3 months ago. I had some serious stress going on and so my period switched on me. I normally go
1st day heavy with bad cramping
2nd day still a bit heavy but not like day 1
3rd day lighter than 2
4th day lighter than 3
5th day either it's done or so light it's just on the toilet paper

Now it's:
1st day barely there
2nd day heavy with bad cramping
3rd day moderate
4th day lighter
5th day lightest
6th day either gone or uber light.

I am hoping that now my stress is gone that it will switch back to normal but only time will tell. Am supposed to start either tonight or tomorrow so we shall see.

As far as I know, I am not pregnant (no signs to indicate it). If you are really worried, go buy a test. The more stress that you have (worrying does that) the more chance that it will stay that way for a while.

I don't think mine is ever the same twice. Like snowflakes, they are. Sometimes it'll last 5 days, sometimes 12 (yes, 12). Sometimes it'll be dark & heavy the entire time, sometimes I'll be spotty for an entire week after the initial few days.

The only thing I can really count on is that it'll drag on for days & days, then stop for a day, then start again just when I think it's gone.
