What are all the reasons you know of, besides pregnancy, that one's period might not show up when expected?

Stress definitely makes a difference in when my periods show up.

Since this question comes up a lot, I took a peek through the memories expecting to find a link there for you, but I couldn't find anything!

Some things that can cause changes in your menstrual cycle:

Stress, change in eating habits, change in living environment, change in the women you spend your time with/around, change in exercise, change in medications, pregnancy, sometimes it'll change just for the heck of it, change in your sexual status (having more or less than you've been having). I'm sure there are others, but those are the first few that popped into myhead.

hey there no need to worry

yeah stress is a likely factor... anything from a change in diet or exercise habits can cause a period to be late or even to be skipped. right after i first started getting periods even my sleeping habits would affect them. if i slept too little i would be late. sometimes having periods can be annoying, dont you think?
