Jul. 1st, 2004 11:47 amok. i am on ortho tri cyclen lo and i've been on it for about a year, and it made my periods come on the first tuesday of every month and last 5 days. that was when i took it correctly but recently i've been taking it at different times every day and even forgetting it on some days. i wasn't really that concerned about it because i'm not really sexually active since i broke up with my bf, which is why i'm slacking off in the pill department.
so this month i got my period when i was supposed to and it lasted as long as it normally does. but then about a week later, i got it again? and i have had it now for over a week which is really strange. not to mention annoying.
my question is, is my taking my pill at different times screwing up my cycle? i'm not even sure if they relate to eachother or if i should have it checked out. or stop taking the pill altogether? orrr start taking it right? i have no idea.

You should start taking it right so that it works its best :)
