Well i'm in the hut. I was trying waxing last night cause i have a little peach fuzz on my chin, and i was surprized on how good it worked.

I think plucking my chin hair resulted in really bad results, cause my hair just got longer, and i'm reduced to waxing my peach fuzz.

Anyone else have this happen to them?
I've always had bad results by plucking hair, so i dont' think i'm ever going to do it again.

I hate how my period wakes me up at the crack of dawn. I'm so tired, I wish i could go back to sleep.

poor thing, you should have a hot bath or something.

i make my own sugaring wax (it's like nads only not nearly as tasty) for my legs. it's messy (as in sticky) but less painful than regular wax and it washes off with water as well. plus it seems to make the hair grow in more soft.

plucking is annoying & tiresome, but i can't give up plucking my eyebrows. i'm afraid i'll wind up with a bald spot if i wax.

Sugar wax?

a FAQ here (http://www.about-hair-removal.com/sugaring.htm).

there are a few formulas i've found online - just type in hair removal receipes into a search engine.

personally it was a lot of trial & error for me. some formulas would basically turn into lollipops - ie hard as a rock instead of being spreadable.

i made my own formula based on this one (www.pioneerthinking.com/bodysugaring.html). for some reason that one didn't work for me.

1 cup / 250mL white sugar
1 tablespoon / 20mL lemon juice (doesn't matter if it's bottled)
1/3 cup / 80mL honey

1. mix in microwave safe bowl
2. heat on high for 2 minutes (i stop it 1 minute to mix ingredients better) - it should have bubbles and be sticky after 2 minutes
3. use when it's cooled down

whenever i need to use it again, i'll re-heat for 25 seconds just to make it easier to use.

hope that helped. if not, just let me know.

I can concur to the period-alarm dealie. I normally start in the morning and I should mention I'm normally a late sleeper...but on my first day each month I'm outta bed with a stomach ache at 2...cramps at 4...blood at 7... then every day after that for about 11 days leaves me feeling a bit like the living dead.
