Heavy spotting on Mercilon...

Has anyone had really heavy spotting at the end of a pack of Mercilon? I ran 2 packs together, in order to skip my period in June (it was due just before my brother's wedding) and before last Saturday I was fine (I finish the pack tonight). However, since Saturday, I've had heavy spotting (very heavy in Sunday) and some cramps, which I usually only have when I have PMS.

Has anyone had similar experiences? I've run packs together before (once a few months ago when I changed pill brands) and didn't have a problem with spotting.
