Birth Control Troubles
Jul. 7th, 2004 05:26 pmI take Alesse and normally I'm really great at remembering to take it.
But the night before last, I forgot to take it at my usual time (11pm). We had sex after midnite and I took it in the morning upon realizing this.
But then last night I forgot again and took it at 4pm today. We had sex again yesterday afternoon. I've been told a million times that sperm likes to hang out in the vagina/cervix for a few days, soooo....
It's the last week of active pills before the dummy pills. The pill pack says that if I miss two pills in a row during week 3, I should start a new pack as soon as this one is done, which I think I might do, but the skipped period will drive me insane. Otherwise, I plan to drink parseley tea next week along with the off-pills.
So, I don't think I technically missed any pills, but the time discrepancies worry me a lot. I don't THINK I'm pregnant because I suspect the chances are slim-ish. But.......
Please help!

Date: 2004-07-07 04:22 pm (UTC)I've done this many times myself (more than I'd like to admit), and I've always been alright. However, it's always good to be cautious. You may want to look into those super-early pregnancy tests if you want peace of mind.
I'm betting you're fine, but better safe than sorry.
